Pokerstars with high stakes cash game TV show
PokerStars is filming a new high-stakes cash game TV show which will broadcast 5 days per week on Fox this June. PokerStars.net the Big Game will have a table full of the world’s best poker pros, including Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso, Jason Mercier, Barry Greenstein, Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer. Each week, top amateurs, a PokerStars Supernova Elite player and a PokerStars.net qualifier called the Loose Cannon, will join the table. To enhance the action, the Loose Cannon will bring in $ 100,000 to the game, and may only keep what he or she wins more than that amount. If a qualifier is making a profit, then he or she will have the option to stop or come back for another make-or-break session. There are four daily online poker qualifiers available at PokerStars.net. I can’t wait to play.” Blinds in the No-Limit Hold’em game will be set at $200/ $ 100 with an ante of $100. Each session will last 150 hands. The one hour show is produced by M & M Productions and Hollybrook Regency and will be filmed in Las Vegas, the show will be aired on Fox from June 14. Presented by Amanda Leatherman, the show will also include player interviews and reports that explore the lifestyle of the poker online pros. The top Loose Cannon of the season will win a PokerStars.net NAPT Passport, which gives him or her free access to all NAPT events for next year.
